Scientific research: Heliox mix gas is used in scientific research to study the effects of different gases on the human body. It is also used in some medical imaging procedures.
The most commonly used gases are 98% Helium and 2% Oxygen. This mixture is known as Heliox. Other helium mixes include 70/30, 60/40, and 50/50. The specific Helium mix gas that is used depends on the purpose for which it is being used. The same can be supplied in different ratios depending upon client requirements.
Heliox mix gas is a safe gas to use, but it should be used with caution. If the Oxygen content of the Heliox mix gas is too low, it can cause Oxygen deprivation. It is important to be trained in the use of Heliox mix before using it.
